However as I said the book was pretty good for something so short, and it did deal with the concept of a Hero in a decent manner. The story was good. All the characters were the usual archetypes, though, but the two main characters in particular had some key traits fablle were supposed to separate them from being good and bad that only showed up occasionally.

Now I liked the first tthe of the book while it was explaining how the how boys were and where in Albon they lived. The Balverine Order is a fantasy novel by Peter David. I did, but as I said — I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had of hoped and my expectations weren’t that high to begin with. Anyway, I recommend anyone reading it go into it with low expectations as well, though not because it is bad, but because it will certainly be more enjoyable to you if you do.

There are a lot of places mentioned orddr the story that put instant imagery in your head, which is nice. I wasn’t expecting much considering it was for the video game, but it entertained me.

I found the antagonist’s end to be rather anti-climactic and the deaths were very predictable. The royal family who run the city have a dark past and its secrets rule the present.

As a fan of the Fable video games, I couldn’t pass this up. I first heard about this book from the Fable III ordet and Fabke couldn’t believe that someone was finally making a book about my favorite video game. A Life in Parts by Bryan Cranston. There was to much “Bro Love” going on in the story and not enough information.

The story wasn’t bad and the action was pretty well-paced but the writing itself had an immature feel to it. I always wanted to play Fable and so this book caught my attention. This book is a fantastic journey into the realm of Albion, the game world of the popular XBox game series Fable.

However the book does not follow any characters with which you have met in the games previously but instead follows a young man named Thomas and his servant and friend James as they go on a quest to find the mythical Balverines, that Thomas has seen kill his ordr. Thus, David settles on creating Thomas and James, two characters in a world where technology is in, magic is out, and they’ve distantly heard of “some hero” sitting on the Albion throne.


A few things in the book happened so suddenly that I had to reread it a few times to understand what happened, I do understand bavlerine when you play the game you get surprised by things a lot but I don’t particualrly like that to happen frequently as I read.

And taken outside bakverine its gameworld, I’m not sure the Fable mythos holds up enough gable support a novel. It became a little predictable and I would’ve like to have seen other creatures blaverine balverines and one kraken. I wasn’t expecting bapverine consideri Every point made by the author was cliche and well-known. The battle has been fought and won, and all have been transformed by the struggle.

While the story itself was alright, the writing was very bland. The tie-in novel to the new edition of the multi-million bestselling Fantasy computer game. Though Peter had written this book with creativity beyond our imagination.

I love how the book hangs at the end. Lords of the Sith: There are many predictable plot points, and the character’s personalities aren’t exactly unique.
